Increasingly it is difficult to separate your social life with your professional life. I make little attempt to separate them. This site is where the two officially meet.

My history of Social Computing goes all the way back to 2000 when I was manager of Knowhere Guide, the UK’s largest user generated guide of UK and Ireland. There I also developed an interest in writing and ended up writing for BBC online.
Before all this however I was playing music starting off with playing bass, then guitar and subsequently mandolin. I always wanted to play banjo however.
In 2005 I bought a banjo and became employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where I delivered social media projects that are currently being used globally.
In 2009 I teamed up with the head of Knowledge Management for PwC UK, Nick O’Doherty and we co-founded Bright Beehive Ltd.
Bright Beehive is aimed at assisting companies seeking to make better use of Social Computing to increase productivity and strengthen relationships or form new ones.
My banjo playing continues.
